Two: A universe of opposites
Life takes place somewhere on the axis between two opposites, between spirit - matter; female - male; light - shadow; conscious - unconscious; life - death; above - below; warm - cold; big - small; power - love... Yin and Yang is a symbol for the complement of two opposites (in each there is also something of the other) .
